Future, an artist like no other

Future, his real name Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, born November 20, 1982, is an American rapper. He is the cousin of producer Rico Wade of The Dungeon Family.

In this favorable environment, Future begins to release different mixtapes from 2010. True Story, published the following year, proves the most striking. The rapper also collaborates with Gucci Mane and YG. Signed by Epic Records in September 2011. He released his first mixtape for a major, entitled Streetz Calling.

In April 2012, the first Pluto album was released, including duets with Drake, T.I., Snoop Dogg and R. Kelly. The collection makes an honest career in the United States and is released in November under the title Pluto 3D. In the meantime, Future participates in Rihanna’s Unapologetic album, which he writes, produces and sings on the song “Loveeeeeee Song”.

With this success, Future softens the tone for his second album. Indeed, it introduces elements of R & B in its Southern rap. His second album album Honest, released in April 2014, includes a flock of stars named Pharrell Williams, Wiz Khalifa, Kanye West, Drake … This one seduces the French public. The following year, Kaaris called on his services for the title “Crystal”.

More than ever active, the Atlanta rapper goes on tour with Young Thug. After that, he recorded two albums released in February 2017: the namesake Future with producers and composers DJ Khaled, Metro Boomin and Zaytoven, The Weeknd (“Coming Out Strong”) and Rihanna (“Selfish”).

After the publication of several mixtapes with variable success between 2010 and 2011, Future signed to the labels Epic Records and A1 Recordings led by his friend and rapper Rocko, who will help him to launch his own label: Freebandz. Future releases its first Pluto album in April 2012.
