The South Florida Sun-Sentinel's Mike Berardino reports the Florida Marlins hired Bobby Meacham as the team's new third-base coach. His previous experience includes spending time last season as a minor league infield instructor in the Colorado Rockies system and management stints in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. He replaces Jeff Cox, the Marlins third-base coach the past two seasons.
