Punked Again

I have to get this off my chest before I vomit on myself.
Michael Vick. aka "Ron Mexico"

Where's Michael Vick in the season passing yards list? Lets scroll down, keep scrolling, a little further ... Ah there he is, #39, just past Tim Rattay, Kyle Orton, and Brooks Bollinger, and just ahead of illustrious backups Tommy Maddox, Sage Rosenfelds, Matt mauch and JP Losman. Good company, and it means 7 backups have actually passed for more yards per game than Vick, assuming that every other starter in the league has beat him. Not an illogical assumption.
Well maybe sorting by QB rating will help Vick out some, you know, factor in those long runs and TDs. Nope, didn't help - but he at least cracks the top 50, coming in at #50 among the leagues QBs, 10 slots behind Chad Pennington and just getting edged out by the elite Kyle Boller and Gus Frerotte.
The good news is, if he passes for one more TD, he can finally move ahead of Tim Rattay for the year, who hasn't played for two weeks after being dumped to Tampa Bay by a helpless 49er's offense.
At one interception per 21 pass attempts, he needs to throw 360 straight passes without an INT just to catch normally interception-prone Jake Plummer's one INT per 80 pass attempts.
Of course he comes out ahead in rushing because he obviously can't get yards throwing the ball. His 302 yards rushing this year is a whopping 96 yards ahead of stand-out QB David Carr to put it in perspective.
If you add his 302 rushing yards to his monster 723 passing yards, he only needs 1000 more yards from scrimmage to catch up to Palmer, McNabb, Brady and Drew Bledsoe.
The backup for the 'talent', Matt Schaub, who is getting some good playing time due to Vicks frequent injuries, not only has a QB rating 27 points higher than Vicks but also has 3.6 more yards per carry rushing the ball this season.
Why does anyone think this guy is good?
