Texans name Shanahan, 28, to run offense (AP)

Kyle Shanahan was promoted to offensive coordinator of the Houston Texans on Friday, making him the youngest coach at that position in the NFL. The 28-year-old son of Denver coach Mike Shanahan replaces Mike Sherman, who spent two seasons with the Texans before being named the head coach at Texas A&M in late November.
