NFL.com writer Pat Kirwan has an agreement with Athletes First, the agency owned by Palmer's agent, to receive 40 percent of the agent fee from Palmer's contract with the Cincinnati Bengals, said Mark Humenik, general counsel for Athletes First, during testimony in a creditors hearing in the Athletes First Chapter 11 bankruptcy case. SportsBusiness Journal obtained an audio tape of the hearing.
