NFL | LA, Anaheim leaders meet with commissioner

The Associated Press reports the mayors of Ls Angeles and Anaheim met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell Friday, Oct. 6 and both offered competing plans to bring an NFL team back to Southern California. Los Angeles city leaders would like to build a new stadium inside the historic Memorial Coliseum. The plan would feature 200 luxury boxes and 15,000 club seats while costing $800 million. Anaheim mayor Curt Pringle plans to sell the league 53 acres of land at the below-market price of $50 million to build a stadium adjacent to Angel Stadium.
