At the bottom of the overall fan loyalty rankings are the Oakland Raiders, whose average attendance is second-worst in the NFL since 1996, even though they play in one of the league's largest, most affluent markets.

I dont have any problem with you or any other Raider fans on this board. Obviously you guys are loyal fans. I saw this and wanted to read your opinions on the subject.
The problem with the Raiders organization is that the team has a terrible lease on the stadium causing them to lose profits and ticket prices are far too high not allowing blue collar fans to afford tickets on a regular basis. Once these problems are corrected you guys should sellout pretty regularly.

i wasnt directing that towards you, just thier stupid ranking and i completely agree about the stadium issue, its good see someone outside of the raider fans recognize that, i think the renegotiations that took place this offseason will correct the sellout issues, in fact if i read correctly i think 7 of the 8 raider home games have either sold out or are close to selling out, of coarse i could be wrong, i could have miss read

the raider nation is far and wide, but the attendance #s are just sad.they took over ticket sales from ofma this year and have plenty of affordable seats and only the steeler game is a sellout.tickets for the season opener vs the bolts still has lower level available.it cant be blamed on mt davis just bad support.hopefully we get a few wins and people will show up again.sad they cant sell ut more often

With the team now controlling ticket sales expect that to change drastically. The Home Opener monday night is sold out already and I dont see many games not being sold out this year.

the Raiders are one of the last teams that need worry about fans. They have a loyal and dedicated fanbase. I was at a home game last year when we won the AFC West and got to talk some ball with some of the fans that made the trek from all over to see the Raiders and I was impressed. Yes there is a deep hatred between the two teams and when they were on the field I wanted them to win badly but off of the field some of the guys were very cool.

Raider fanbase might be good but the Denver fanbase is one of the best along with the redskins and Green Bay.

Raiders rule and rule worldwide.
That's why, say for example, last year's team hats with the mesh and the written team names, every team has thier city in small print above the team name except for the Raiders.
The Raider hat of that style simply says "The" above Raiders.
Get it?
