Let's get this college year started right, I know we lost alot of great players to the NFL but we had another great recruiting year so we should be able to come to our championship form. Let's talk SC Football Fellas and ladies....

the gators? LOL nah
if it wasnt for the Canes the NFL wouldnt be half as talented as it is now

right?...LOL
anyways SC has alot of new players on the skill positions spots this year so if there's was a chance to beat SC then this is the year to do it...
I hope Mark Sanchez beats out David Booty for the starting QB spot..
I can't wait to see Chauncy Washington could do at running back
I'm hearing SC is going to run the 3-4 defense this year since we're so deep and talented at the LB position...we have the best LBs' in the nation IMO

You guys probably do, I dont trust USC D players in the NFL though
I like Florida's stock of LBs too, best safeties in the nation.. the U!
Brandon Meriweather and Anthony Reddick nuff said! There the best safeties of there class.

USC will be back. My biggest concern is the first three games are against good teams. We are going to have to get the kinks out quickly. It tough to win 11 or 12 games every year but USC has the talent to go all the way. I ready and cant wait to kick some BCS butt.

Just remember this kid name Taylor Mays, he's 6'4" 225 SS whose going to punish fools all over the field...he won't start cuz he's a true freshman but watch and see he's going to be the best safety in a year or two..

I hope so, hopefully he wont be like every other SS that played for USC you know.. a lousy tackler =)
ima cheer him on though

let's see Lott, and Troy Polamalu weren't great safety tacklers

Lott yes, Polamalu No.
Maybe for USC but I watched so many Steeler games last year where he wiffed on a tackle, among the elite SS's Polamalu is one of the worst tacklers.. HE ISNT A BAD TACKLER dont get me wrong but he definently misses more tackles then the Top 10 SS's in the league.

Antwine Perez is better and a much bigger hitter I heard that they were trying mays out as a wr/te.

Every team in the pac is likely to have at least 1 loss with the new round robin schedule.

at this point, I feel Josh Pinkard should start at FS but I'm not sold on him..Perez should be a solid backup...
since we have so much depth at WR with Jarrett, Smith, Turner, and McFoy,I feel Mays won't have much playing time at the position..
I believe he play both ways in H.S so he has the skills to play both safety and WR in college for sure....

this is very true...USC could lose two to three games this year since we lost alot of players at skills spots this year...

Like thats a concern...:-)
If we dont stumble out of the gate ND is the only team that may stand in our way. I dont think Cal will be a worry for us.
