it sucks that England lost, our coach is horrible.. the refs should of never red carded Rooney, oh well atleast we lost to a very good team in Portugal.
Im cheerin on France now, I think they beat Brazil today.

Brazil hasnt been playin good football lately, if they dont step it up then France will beat them.. if Brazil steps it up there near unstoppable, but they havent been playing good.

Have you ever spent any time in France ? I have and France sucks big time and for the most part the french hate the Americans. So I will be pulling for anybody but France.

everyone hates America though and who can blame them not many americans are diverse at all.
France is great though, there great chefs and its a beautiful country full of nice people.

The refs were absolutely ridiculous in the England/Portugal match-up. The red card on Rooney was completely uncalled for, not that it matters at all now. Watching the last half of that game, I had a hard time distinguishing soccer players from Hollywood actors. Most of these guys go down like a shot, and in some cases it's nifty to draw penalties, but how far can you take it until it just looks pathetic?
Been routing for Italia since the beginning and in the end they are my pick. France is looking great out there too; you have to give them some credit for beating out Brazil, a clear World Cup favourite and an outstanding team. If Italy can't cut it then vive la France!

Rooney stomped on that guys nuts and everyone in the world was watching – even British newspapers are saying it was a bush league move and he should have been thrown out.
England’s loss had nothing to do with the coach - it had to do with England pulling its once a cup dip $hit move. They played terrible the whole cup - they had an easy path and barely won the games they should have dominated. I think they should be happy they made it this far.
I called it from the start of the cup – that England would wait for a meaningful game and then do something to shoot themselves in the foot.

It was a complete accident, no one involved in soccer believes that was a red card
the commentators said it shouldnt of been, and the ESPN analysts said it shouldnt of been because it shouldnt.. if he purposely did it then yes but no it was an accident, no red card.

The ref wasn't even going to card Rooney until Ronaldo got in there. Ronaldo had the plan to get Rooney's temper going from the begging of the game with the winking and smirking. The ref was from Argentina which only adds to the controversy. and that was a horrible analogy with the face mask. It would be the same in american football. if someone accidentally stepped on someone in American Football, when he had two men on him constantly diving around his legs, he wouldn't be thrown out of the game. BS call. watch the incident for yourself and make your own decision.
