Joanne Korth, of the St. Petersburg Times, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Michael Pittman is so serious about giving up motorcycles that he is selling his motorcycle on E-Bay. Internet bidding for Pittman's lavishly customized, 115-horsepower TL 1000R reached $16,800 Saturday, June 24. "I love bikes, grew up on bikes," Pittman said. "But being a smart player and smart person, man, I just had to do what I had to do. I've got four kids, a wife and a career. I love motorcycles and I'm one of the best riders, but somebody can just cut me off and there I go, even with a helmet on. I could kill myself, paralyze myself. I just had to give it up."

im not against bikes but they dont seem like a wise decision for an nfl player.there is too much money to lose and your career is often short anyways.they can ride after they retire,helmet or not some nut can just cut you off and your career is over.nt a wise choice IMO
