He was the voice of college football.I hear that. "WHOA NELLIE"! was first heard in a time when there was no internet, there was no cell phone, there was no MTV and cable television. There was NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, and normally one local station. Almost all of them were off the air late at night into the early morning. Back when a smoke was a smoke, and grovin' was grovin', those pristine days of Big Time college football are forever gone. It's the next Millennium now. I feel.... I am old. See ya Keith! |
