The rivercats are the single most profitable minor league franchise in sports. Like you said they are itching for another pro franchise. I know they would show up peole are pretty willing to drive to the bay are to catch a game so why wouldnt they go if it was in town. IMO, the City of Oakland is run by a bunch of idiots and they take the A's for granted. Those pinkos are more worried about freakin Oaksterdam than having a pro franchise.
