Chiefs | Edwards putting personal stamp on team
Tue, 18 Apr 2006 10:20:28 -0700
Elizabeth Merrill, of the Kansas City Star, reports Kansas City Chiefs head coach Herman Edwards is starting to put his stamp on the team's program. He has the NFL shield and the arrowhead logo everywhere throughout the complex. Edwards says the shield's stars and stripes represent America and he wants it painted everywhere to remind players that they're in an occupation they shouldn't take for granted. He's having the arrowhead painted everywhere because it represents the team. He even had the pool table from the locker room removed, in part, because it was covering the arrowhead logo on the carpet.
